Valemar is a composition of the three Portuguese words "vale e mar" - valley and sea. A perfect description of what to expect: beautiful ocean views from the three top terraces for a perfect sundowner and an exceptionary panoramic view over the evergreen valley. Planned by an award winning local architect and lovingly thought out by the owners down to the smallest detail, this unique hillside property is second to none.

THE VILLA

The villa has a total of three bedrooms to rent, each with low-noise built-in air conditioning and private ensuite bathrooms. A maximum of 6 adults can stay in the house and we offer an extra bed for infants and toddlers.

All the beds are high quality kingsize box spring beds with different levels of hardness and adjustable pillows to meet your unique sleeping preferences.

There is a spacious open cooking and living area with a fully equipped kitchen that leaves nothing to be desired and makes cooking with friends and family communicative and fun. Take a step outside and you'll find yourself in front of a large BBQ and outdoor dining area.

Take a dip in the large 4x12m heatable infinity pool, enjoy the outside shower or just relax while sunbathing on some of the various terraces. Need something fresh? Just help yourself in the garden and harvest some fresh organic oranges, lemons, pomegranates and more! (To come for 2022.)

For cozy nights, cuddle yourself up on the huge couch and watch some movies on the 8k 75" Smart TV or simply enjoy the warmth of the inside-fireplace after grabbing a glass of chilled whitewine out of the wine cooler in the kitchen.

Time for sunset? Go to the rooftop terrace and watch the sun set over the ocean. Let the evening end on the second rooftop terrace, which is equipped with a large lounge area and a fireplace plus it has ocean views as well!

THE LOCATION

Villa Valemar is just a 10 minute walk away from the typical Algarve coastline and the small beach Vale de Centianes, where you can not only safely go for a swim, but also enjoy an authentic meal (i.e. the freshly caught fish of the day) and a cold drink at the local beachside restaurant O'Stop. This beach is also the starting point of some of the best cave boattours in the Algarve, including a tour to the famous Benagil Caves. You can also start here for a beautiful hike along the cliff-path with breathtaking views of the coastline.
